Sportshall Athletics 2019

On Tuesday 8th October, 2019 we attended the Salford Year 5 and 6 Sportshall Athletics at Irlam Leisure Centre.

All of the children performed very well at events some of them had never experienced before. We had one boy in Year 6 get a special award for his performance in the 2 + 2 Lap Relay where he came from being in third place to win the event. 

Most of our boys also won the majority of their heats including the final 4 X 1 Lap Relay where they won very comfortably.

Overall we came 6th, which is the same as last year, however I believe we performed much better than last year and will continue to raise that bar for next year.

A big thank you to Dean Gilmore as always for organising such events and well done to Moor Side who won our event and day.
